Plan your visit

Visiting the Statue of Liberty crown requires tourists to climb up and down 354 steps. It's a good idea to wear sneakers or rubber-soled shoes on this excursion. Drink plenty of water if planning to climb to the top as it can be up to 20 degrees warmer in the Statue of Liberty’s crown.
