Radio City Rockettes

With over 75 years of fascinating performances - the Radio City Rockettes are one of New York City’s most treasured icons. The Rockettes are most notable for the annual Radio City Christmas Spectacular, a world renowned show played in over 60 cities across the country and seen by more than 2 million people a year. Thousands of women audition each year for the chance to become a part of the Rockettes line and over 3000 women have realized that dream.

Radio City History

The dream of Radio City was realized during the Great Depression era by John D. Rockefeller, Jr., RCA and Roxy. Radio City is a theatre, unlike any in the world, for ordinary people to enjoy high-quality entertainment at an affordable price. Since 1933, over 700 movies have premiered at Radio City Music Hall, including the original King Kong. To date, over 300 million people have visited Radio City to enjoy the Rockettes, movies, stage shows, and concerts.
