The Liberty Science Center is a magical wonderland that brings the excitement of science to people of all ages. Set on New York Harbor near the Statue of Liberty, Liberty Science Center houses 12 museum exhibition halls, a live animal collection with 110 species, giant aquariums and the nation's largest IMAX Dome Theater. Among the awesome things you'll see: Tornado and hurricane-force wind simulators, a pitch-black "touch tunnel" and a giant blue nose that sneezes.

Experience the excitement of viewing a movie on an 88 feet domed screen. Liberty Science Center shows the very best in educational films carefully selected for their educational content, visual appeal and interesting stories. Films start promptly and latecomers may not be admitted. Children under the age of 2 are not permitted in the IMAX Theater.

What is the best way to get to the museum using Public Transportation?


The best way to get to Liberty Science Center using public transportation is to take the NY Waterway Ferry from the World Financial Center to Jersey City. A free shuttle at the terminal will take you to the Center entrance.
